No sign of this news anywhere. Can't say I'dbe too concerned if true. He's a passenger we can't carry the way we now play.

CARROLL BLOW

This is certainly not the news West Ham fans would have wanted to hear ahead of their Super Sunday clash with Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium.

Hammers manager Slaven Bilic has confirmed forward Andy Carroll is struggling with a groin problem and is likely to miss the trip to south Wales.

"We have Andy Carroll situation where he is feeling his groin and he could miss the Swansea game which is a big blow. It's one game,” he said.

"It's nothing major. The scan showed a little bit of a problem. Not long term but it's very unlikely he's going to play"

Missing then, thats hardly new!

Although to be fair he did put in a shift against Stoke, just a shame it wasnt as a striker?

Re: Carroll out against Swansea - Groin injury
Jelavic is Croat for "we need goals from midfield".

Well, it might as well be.
